With over a year of experience under her belt as a User Success Agent in the UVAFinance Solution Center, Rasha Ahmad has taken on a new role in the organization as a Business Services Associate. In this role, Ahmad will administratively support UVAFinance leadership, particularly the Associate Vice President for Finance & University Controller (upon that position being filled).
Both Ahmad's background on the "Ask Finance" team and her previous work history in retail management have given her the ability to handle a lot of things at once, so she's prepared for the juggling of schedules and paperwork that will come in her new position.
Ahmad says she's grateful for her experience with the Solution Center and how it provided a good foundation. "It's the best preparation ever," she says.
"My role in the Solution Center meant I gained knowledge about UVA as a whole, our different schools, and finance's different departments. It was one of the best experiences I could have."
