UVAFinance's Procurement Team took their "show on the road" this past week, heading to Suffolk for the 9th Annual Small Business Summit and Small Business Expo, otherwise known as ProcureCon, hosted by the Virginia Asian Chamber of Commerce.

UVA was joined by NASA, Norfolk State University, Skanska, VDOT, and many other buyers. The event was located in the expo hall, where conference attendees, were able to share new ideas, network and discover new opportunities for business growth.
ProcureCon drew attendees from all business sectors in the Hampton Roads area, most of whom were small business owners and members of the Asian Chamber of Commerce.
Ajoni Wynn-Floyd, Procurement's Community Engagement Coordinator, was our representative at the event and staffed the UVA booth. Of the event, she says, "The Virginia Asian Chamber of Commerce is very welcoming, and they always are accepting of business owners from all backgrounds to join their chamber and participate in their networking events."
