Cancel Card
Please follow these steps to cancel your T&E Card:
- Open the T&E Card Change Request Form and select "Cancel Card" from the drop-down. Complete the form and submit.
- Expense all T&E Card transactions in Workday as soon as possible, but within 30 days of incurring the charges.
- Destroy the card and throw it away once canceled.
Transfer to New Department
If you are a current T&E cardholder and will need a T&E card in your new role, you will need to cancel your current card then apply for a new one.
- Open the T&E Card Change Request Form and select "Cancel Card" from the drop-down. Complete the form and submit.
- Remove your card from any recurring charges such as subscriptions or auto-billed accounts and TravelUVA profiles.
- Expense all T&E Card transactions from your current department in Workday before applying for a new card.
- Apply for a new card by following the instructions on the Apply for a T&E Card page. If your card training is current you will not need to complete training again. Note: It may take 2-3 business days before the T&E Application is populated with your new department's information.
