Things to keep in mind before using the T&E Card abroad
- You do not need to contact Bank of America to alert them of travel. They no longer place travel alerts on card accounts.
- Prior to travel, assign a delegate who can assist with submitting Expense Reports, if needed
- PINs are often required by vendors abroad, so you should verify your card's PIN prior to travel
- Many credit card transactions require ID verification, so you will need to carry your passport with you
- Call Bank of America immediately at 1-888-449-2273 if your card gets lost or stolen
- T&E cards cannot be used for cash withdrawals without prior approval from the cardholder’s supervisor and the T&E team. Please submit a T&E Card Change Request if you will need cash withdrawal during travel. For more information on expensing a cash withdrawal on the How Should I Pay for My Travel page.
